Today we visited the Parque Natural Metropolitano just on the outskirts of the city. The walk to the top was billed as moderate, but for me it was far from being moderate. In fact it was a 2.38 mile climb to the top and back which I found to be quite a slog, especially in 32 degrees of heat and humidity. But afforded some great views over the city when we eventually got their. But that said we saw some great wildlife. A really friendly deer, a Toucan also some amazing leaf cutter ants. If we are to be reincarnated after we have gone I certainly do not want to come back as a leaf cutter ant. It looks far to hard for my liking. Head over to my YouTube channel for some videos of today.
