We set off from Valence sur Baise where we were staying for our first week and headed to our next port of call Aigaurande. When we at our first weeks stay we kept reading quite a bit about a place called Cahors and as it was on our way to our next stop we decided to have a look, and we not disappointed. The town itself is surrounded by a river with various elaborate bridges across to it, and as with all French towns plenty of historical buildings, churches, and architecture. Cahors also has an old quarter with many narrow streets and timber framed buildings, but the must see is the magnificent pedestrian bridge Pont Valentre a real photo opportunity. Next stop Wisteria House, Airgurande There will be plenty of photos on my Flickr feed on my return just go to the website and search for bobrouse
