Harcombe House, Devon

Well its soon time to set of on our travels once again, this time we are off to Devon for my birthday to Harcombe House which is run by the Firefighter Charity, it’s a really lovely place in Chudleigh, Devon. The main house is a grade II listed property that was the former home of Sir William Henry Wills. The house is surrounded by 300 acres of lakes, gardens and woodland. Within the grounds, the site has 28 detached, fully-equipped 3-bedroom bungalows with stunning views so it should be very nice indeed. We have booked an overnight stay in Gloucester which is about half distance, so the gang is really looking forward to the break. So watch this space for updates, photo’s via my various social network feeds TwitterFacebookFlickr. So watch this space and follow our antics

  1. I hope you had a happy birthday Bob. Cool post about that building and link to the owner, Sir Wills (no idea about the Tobacco connection).
